HANDS- ON DRAFT HORSE POWERED DEMONSTRATION

Join us at Featherbed Lane Farm, just a short drive from the Winter Conference, for a full-day and hands-on draft horse-power workshop.  Tim Biello, Donn Hewes, Chad Vogel, Nathan Henderson and Matt Volz experienced teamsters will describe and demonstrate the basics of caring for and farming with draft horses.  There will be plenty of time for questions and lively discussions as well as opportunities for participants to handle horses, harness and equipment.  Participants will also be able to try their hand at working with draft horses. Pre-registration for this event is required as class size is limited. Cost $20/person (plus conference registration) and includes lunch.
