We created the Supporter Share in 2021 to sustain and grow our food access work.
The Supporter Share is a way for people to contribute financially to the farm to help the farm offer sliding scale prices and weekly donations of fresh and nutritious produce to the food pantry. You can contribute directly to the Supporter Share by sending us a check (made out to Featherbed Lane Farm LLC) or Venmo us at @FeatherbedLane-Farm
What We Do
We offer a sliding scale on our CSA Membership prices. This helps community members who want to get their food from the farm, for themselves and their families, but for whom the full value of Membership is prohibitive. We work with everyone on an individual basis to determine a price and payment plan they can afford and feel good about.
We make weekly donations of fresh produce to the Franklin Community Center Food Pantry. We also regularly provide produce to other food access projects and charitable events.
We’ve offered a sliding scale and donated fresh food since the farm was started in 2017. More than $62,500 in value has been discounted from CSA Member prices and donated to the food pantry.
What You Can Do
Become a CSA Member
One of the best ways to support the farm is to become a CSA Member. For more information on Membership, click HERE. You can also contribute directly to the farm’s Supporter Share.
Contribute to the Supporter Share
Anyone can contribute to the farm’s Supporter Share program. CSA Members and everyone who is interested can make a financial contribution to the farm to support our food access work. You can contribute at any time.
You can Contribute to the Supporter Share in the following ways:
CSA Members, when signing up and renewing, can return discounts for which they are eligible. The value of the returned discounts goes towards the Supporter Share.
You can make a direct payment to the Supporter Share. Anyone who is interested, including CSA Members, can contribute at any time throughout the year.
